Museum of Russian submarine forces of Alexander Marinesco not differ in size and huge number of exhibits, measured in six figures. In the museum there is not more than seventeen thousand pieces, and he is only two rooms connected by a small corridor. However, it is unlikely you will find anywhere ever submarine fleet, from the time of Peter the Great to the end of XX century, it is better than here.

In this museum you can look at pictures and drawings of Peter's times, depicting the various options for "secret courts". Surprisingly, the idea of creating a ship that could secretly surf the sea space, there was already, in fact, were even experiments on the construction thereof.

However, most of the exhibits, of course, refers to the XX century. These are various items from submarines, drawings, medals and military uniforms, various models of submarines. The exposition of the museum gives a vivid picture of how the actions of submarines during World War II and the current state of the Navy, makes it possible to trace all the stages of becoming a nuclear missile submarine fleet.

Particularly amusing may seem a curious visitor unusual exhibits such as, for example, canned food and water, tapping the table between compartments in the event of an accident or a real shot "to cut", with commentary on all parts and components. A large number of exhibits - of various objects and documents - is dedicated to the famous commander of the submarine S-13, whose name and called the museum, Captain Alexander Marinesco.

An important part of the exhibition is devoted to the most recent year in the history of the submarine fleet, and in particular the tragic events associated with the loss of the submarine "Kursk". Here you can read the diaries, discovered on the "Kursk", with materials to rescue the crew and the rise of the submarine.

In addition to the above two rooms to the museum is dug into the ground next to the submarine. On the surface, visible only cutting and a machine gun, and even a torpedo and an anchor, sitting side by side. The most interesting - inside. But tours are conducted there only during the warmer months from May.
